Take classes here during the summer and the instructors are always good. Parking can be a problem in the summer. My kids went to the camp here for a summer and I felt it was pricey for what they offered. Beautiful, clean facility overall.

I am a summer resident and reside the remainder of the year in San Diego, where I work out at 24 Hour Fitness. I have attended spin classes and yoga at both the JCC and many of the 24 Hour Fitness gyms. Without exception, the instructors at the JCC are a cut above the ones at 24 Hour, are better trained and keep up do date with the latest fitness trends.

The JCC Early Childhood program is fantastic! Before enrolling, I spoke to several parents who had multiple children that had gone through the program. But, what really set me at ease was talking with Jan the EC Director and her wonderful associate, Linda. Not only did they explain the program to me at great length (new parent) but, also answered all of my questions.(quite a few) It's been almost a year that we've enrolled and couldn't be happier and here's why....nDIVERSITY.....in programs, curriculums and in the cultural backgrounds of the children..... There are so many different kinds of activities that my 2 yr daughter takes part of every week, from reading, singing, dancing, painting & playing...to learning sign language (before she could speak), Yoga, being exposed to fresh air/everyday play outside, dress up time....and of course socialization. STAFFING/CLEANLINESS: The classrooms are always well staffed, clean and not over crowded. CONVENIENCE: With a playground on campus, two pools in the building, and a large brand new gym for playing indoors during cold/rainy days....there are so many additional activities at my fingertips for my daughter to take part in...such as swim lessons and camp by the sea. We are working parents and if I have a meeting run late, Jan and Linda are always accommodating. Plus, I receive photos via email throughout the day of her playing! The teachers and staff are welcoming, compassionate people who have become part of our routines and our lives. In the end, you have to find a place that make you and your kids feel comfortable and the Katz JCC in Margate has done that - and more!
