609 Jiu Jitsu & Fitness

I trained at 609 for two weeks while on a business trip. Very convenient location, very close to Atlantic City. Great instructors. Three very knowledgeable black belts that were very welcoming and great instructors. The vibe was very friendly.nnI was able to observe the kids class while waiting fornMy class. The kids teacher seemed to really connect with the kids and had them doing fun drills that promoted sound BJJ fundamentals.nnIf I lived in the South New Jersey area, this would be the place to train and learn BJJ. L

I did a drop in class while I was in NJ for vacation, and I found everyone welcoming and inviting. Everyone was happy to roll with me and give me tips to improve what I was doing wrong. Nobody hesitated to introduce themselves, and I had a wonderful time. As long as my schedule allows this is my mat of choice when I am in the area.

I dropped in at 609 Jiu Jitsu while in town for vacation (only a short drive away from Ocean City). The facility was top notch and the student base was very welcoming. Had some competitive rolls during open gym & the head coach stuck around after to go over some technique. It’s definitely my go to spot when I’m at the shore. OSSS!!!

I came up to AC from Tampa and wanted to keep training so I went here last night for a drop in class. Rich was super friendly and had me in the class in no time. The black belt teaching that night gave some really good, easy to understand instruction on the moves he was showing and even took the time to work with me to make sure I understood it. Everyone there was really friendly. Great place, I will be back next time I'm up in AC.

Nice clean gym with great air circulation and a kicking sound system. I was welcomed while visiting on vacation and enjoyed the class and everyone was very respectful. Thanks again!nDerek
