Toms River fitness

It was my 1st time there. Very happy with the place. The pool aquatic exercise was great.

I’ve been to a couple different gyms in the area, TRF is hands down the worst. The equipment is from the 70s, rusted, and some pieces are missing. The classes they have, are allowed to run around the weight area while people are lifting. God forbid you don’t use your spin classes you paid for soon enough, you lose them. With covid, they cut their hours and resumed membership without advising patrons. The women at the desk ignore you when you’re trying to sign in. All for double what most gyms charge. I’ll be driving the extra distance to return to my old gym.

Do to the covid pandemic the gym can no longer offer the use of gym and daycare which is the reason my family signed up. We all can agree that gyms may never be the same again. We asked for a refund as we paid for a year upfront. The owner responded that they are unable to refund us until the gym is open again. Meanwhile they are offering numerous outdoor classes and pool activities. Very disappointed in the owner who pretends to treat their members as family, but fails to do the right thing for its members ud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4e

I feel very comfortable working out there, well organized and great professional staff..

As a member for over 20 years, I know the gym will be healthy and safe place for all to visit and re-opening will lift our spirits and sagging bodies. Cannot wait! Peace!
