Saturday's Barbecue

Stopped in Saturday's Barbecue on a Saturday morning to grab a sandwich. I wanted to get a Burnt Ends sandwich but was told there were no burnt ends available. I went with the Brisket sandwich with regular BBQ sauce to go. I chatted with Eli for a bit and he seems like a real good dude and states he has been at this location for 3 years. Eli states during the spring/summer he will have sides available but not during the winter months. I asked about some spicy BBQ sauce and he states he didn't have any at the moment. I noticed from other reviews there is a hot BBQ sauce made from peppers grown on the property, and hope I can try some of that when they become available.nnThe portion of Brisket on my Brisket sandwich was hefty! I tried it without BBQ sauce before adding the BBQ sauce. I found the meat to be flavorful and was mixed with juicy, dry and fatty pieces. The price of the Brisket sandwich was a bit high at $10 without a side or drink.nnOverall, Eli's friendly demeanor and passion for BBQ makes this a must visit place! I plan to visit Saturday's Barbecue again when the full menu is available, as I would like to try the coleslaw, burnt ends, and spicy/hot BBQ sauce.nnThe opinions stated here are my own and not provided to me by the owner/operator of this establishment. Had ribs for lunch today. They were minimalist -- just ribs. Cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Worth driving out of the way if you're in the area. I only regret they were out of brisket. Everything we had was amazing.

This place is AMAZING! The food is so good. Like melt in your mouth meat. You dont even need sauce. The owner is also very nice and helpful.
