Super friendly. I like that they have a private toilet and shower. 1 person or family at a time. We left one day for breakfast and a storm moved in. When we got back the camp host/owner had our camp packed up. I mean chairs, awning on camper, pop up canopy, coolers everything was put up I was very appreciative of there gesture. Any place else that we have been to would have left it. I will keep going back!

This is a great campground that is actually in both sides of the road.. there is a campground that is on the east side of the road but the office is on the west side and it can be tough to get a bigger RV in and out of that side... Do yoyrs of a favor and park at the entrance to the campground in the east side of the road and walk across to the office... You will need a code to get into the campground itself. There is also a large beach on both sides.. The place is packed with locals on the hot weekends but the campground is always quiet and secure. Never an issue here at Zan's...nnThe owners are very nice and constantly improving the place with new additions all year long ... Definitely a great place to stop when you're in southwest Missouri ... And very easy access from I 44.. just a few miles from the exit with no turns or red lights to worry about.

John was very accommodating on short notice for our one night stay. Conveniently located a mile off of I-44. The park is well maintained and you can tell the owners take pride in the facility. Had no issues navigating our bus into a space in the dark. To the reviewer‘s who had trouble getting in or out, you shouldn’t be driving a rig if you can’t navigate this place. Reasonably priced at $28 for 30 amp and water with a creek view.

Just a heads up, it has been ages since I have been camping. But the people who run this place were hands down incredibly helpful. The views here I would say are incredible. Definitely should stay here as it has great access to the creek which is a plus if you are floating from the falls.
