Large campsites with many trees separating sites. Hiking nearby. Grass and space is Well taken care of. Trees were trimmed so our Class A didn't have any problems fitting into the back-in site. Clean and safe.
4 stars only because there are many friendly spiders BUT that is just my issue. Learning about Mark Twain was awesome and the lake was filled with many water fowl. Absolutly beautiful with a symphony of frogs, insects, and many different birds.
Best State Park in Missouri
It was fine
Stayed two nights at Badger and two nights at Coyote, enjoyed both. Nice campsites, shaded, grounds and restrooms were clean & well maintained. Friendly & accommodating hosts. Will return.
