This camp site was just what we needed. My only disappointment was that the employees did not wear masks. Which just encouraged the other people (at the check in desk, on the bus on the way to the start of the float, etc) to not wear masks either.nnOtherwise, the stilt cabins were great! A little rustic, sure, but isn't that what we're all here for? We were given locks for the door and there were fire pits outside of each cabin. We were also feet away from the river, and the bathroom, while again, rustic, was convenient and had running water. Just bring your own toilet paper!nnWe originally planned to float on tubes, but a super friendly employee talked to us about the water level and encouraged we switch to a raft (same price for our group) which was an excellent suggestion. We are so grateful to him for that recommendation! Oh, and make sure you get some koozies from the front desk. Overall, highly recommend

The cabins weren't bad and the bathrooms were adequate, however in the morning the kids handing out canoes etc could have been done better, was really slow and delayed and we had another group try to take our canoes. The staff didn't want to intervene told us it was up to us to get them back. The guy who drove the bus back to the camp was great although I didn't catch his name. Not a great experience but not a bad experience definitely a 3 star time.

Rating two stars mostly because the staff was pretty friendly and helpful, but the place is a bit run down and the owners of this place are HORRIBLE to deal with they have zero customer service skills. There is no lost and found protocol at this place so do not forget anything of value here or it'll be a pain to get it back. My mom accidentally forgot her phone at our camp site, left it plugged in on at outdoor outlet at the site while we went floating, totally her fault. But Brooklyn, who seems like a great asset to this company and probably too good to work here, was nice enough to find it and bring it back to their office so we could pick it up when we got off the float trip since we were already about a mile down river. But when that time came, staff was no longer at the office, so we called the number outside the window and eventually got ahold of someone who said was the owner I believe her name is Rene. At first She showed zero interest in sending anyone to open up the office so we could get my mom's phone which is about $1000 phone and her ONLY phone to communicate with anyone. We tried to explain that we had 3 hour drive back to KC and even offered to go pick them up or someone from their staff up to come open up the office for us. Rene began raising her voice frantically, she was rude and we had to call multiple times to start to get some traction on the issue after being hung up on. On the last call she finally began to provide a solution which would have involved my mom and I waiting until 9 or 10pm (5 hours after the end of our float trip and a 3 hour drive ahead back home), but then her husband I believe his name is Ron got on the phone and threatened to call the cops and have us thrown off their property, then hung up on me. Not once did I curse at them and only raised my voice at a level to match Rene's, as she wasn't hearing me otherwise. I've never been threatened like that and is mostly the core of my frustration, along with their unprofessional approach with a lost and found item OF VALUE. We were about to call the police ourselves actually but I don't know how and I don't why...two young men showed up with office keys and opened the door for us, I don't know who they were but thank God for them, and this was after a couple hours of waiting and dealing with the owners. By far one of the WORST customer service experiences directly with ownership, as a business owner myself I would NEVER treat my customers this way. Rene and Ron if you can't afford to run this place properly you might consider another profession that doesn't involve any type of customer service.

Wonderful place to pitch a tent for a couple nights. Brooklyn at the front desk was AWESOME! Very friendly and accommodating. We had a great shady area thanks to her recommendation! Will definitely be back for my next float!

The small cabins aren’t insulated so be aware you could have wasps in your cabin but it was still pretty nice! The lady that works the front desk was super nice!!! They also have a shuttle to take you to the night club which was pretty cool!
