Great owners. They have owned and managed this place for 40 plus years. friendly and very helpful. Right on the edge of the mississippi river . We would go back there in the early spring . Hannibal Missouri is just up the road and there's a lot of history. Also the mark twain river boat dinner cruise and afternoon cruise. Lots of shops to visit and walk around town.
When people rate campgrounds why don’t they ever mention the fact that there’s a major rail line running right next to the campground. Regular trains with the whistle all night long. This is not a quiet campground.
Called and while asking questions she was very polite but hung up on us! You can probably get a good site , but don't ask questions!!!!
Between the loud train and the barking hound dogs this was not a quiet place to stay.
