We both had burgers and fries. I am a little sad a didnt try the Maid-Rite. But what I had was good (steampunk burger). Our server was nice and did a good job checking on us.nnThe prices are good, and the food is pretty good for a quick bite while you’re sightseeing.nnWe also tried the root beer and it was soooo good.

Forced use of face masks when Missouri is not mandating that. No one but us were in the restaurant and I soon saw why. We ordered root beers, but wanted water with the root beer. Water cost .50 cents a glass. No refills on soda. We had maid-rites which were just average. Price gouging in my opinion. The restaurants on Main Street are so good. Will never go back to this place.

It’s a hit and miss with this place. Since COVID we have tried to support locally. We love their cheese curds but half the time they tell us they are out for the day. They aren’t honoring local maid rite discounts right now. We dined in recently and it was terrible. Must wear mask, paper plates, styrofoam cups, no refills, and the food was meh. They still let us order frosted mugs of root beer and discount a whopping .25 cents since there were no refills. The root beer was flat and the mugs were warm. We asked for a different drink but were still charged for the root beers. Food was greasy and everything was overpriced. Could have had a steak dinner for the same price. I’ve been understanding but then we came to get a couple of maidrites for an early dinner at 4:05 and they informed us they closed at 4 due to lack of staff. You can only give a place so many chances.
