The service was very good. The food was hot, and as ordered. The home made soup was delicious. Their menu is one of the largest I have ever seen. Breakfast served anytime of day is a plus. Their daily specials offer a good variety to satisfy any palette. Owners were delightful. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
We don't travel much these days but a new necessary 3000 mile journey took us near Macon MO, while eastbound at sunrise. We were hungry and needed a place to duck in out of the sun on the horizon for a bit.nWhat a nice place! Neat, clean, nicely decorated, great staff and the food was awesome. Happy to support local diners as we travel. Highly recommend this one !
Ordered roast beef dinner and was served processed beef in a compressed slice, with tepid brown gravy over artificial mashed potatoes. This meal shouldn't be on the menu. Or change the description to processed beef out of a can. Very nice people, and other food looked edible. My meal didn't look, smell, or taste edible.
We've ate there before but a few things need addressing. Food was served on cold plates so food was like warm and some items are cold. They cooked the ham on the same griddle as they did items with bell peppers, so the ham had that flavor. Sausage gravy had very little sausage in it. Very disappointed this time.
Dinned in several times always amazingly good food. Recommended to everyone I know.
