We loved the ambience & the proprietors. Darrell's coffee roasting was superb, & we would stop in as often as we could. But then duty called us far away. Darrell bent over backwards to roast beans exactly as I liked em, & ship to me perfectly done & super fresh. Well done, Tracy & Darrell❣

This is my favorite place in Mount Vernon. Their staff is very awesome. Everyone here is really nice, polite, friendly, and very helpful. Their coffee and eats are also very delicious. They even have wine and beer!nnI don’t want to forget to mention that they sell all my favorite local goods too! I thought I could only get this stuff at apple butter makin’ days. The keen bean is a very special place.nnKeep the good vibes going my friends.
Keen Bean is a great local family owned company. Their coffee is fantastic and so are their muffins (blueberry and morning glory are my two favorites). Big chain shops can't compete with the quality of beans roasted in house by the owner.nnOn top of the fantastic menu items, the staff are so friendly and helpful. You feel welcome the second you walk in the door.
I love Keen Bean. The coffee is amazing. The baked goods are amazing. The service is good. The ambiance is good. No masks though. The girl who took my order today had a mask hanging off her ear the whole 10 min I was in the building. Really disappointing.
