Driving across country, we stopped for gas in Concorda, Missouri and smelt amazing BBQ coming from a little place called Dempsey’s. Tired and starving, we went in for a bite, 45 minutes before they closed, something I would never do... knowing the staff probably wanted to go home.nWe were greeted by the sweetest young lady, Katia, who told us to take our time and don’t worry about closing time.nI ordered the brisket sandwich, my husband ordered the brisket/pulled pork sandwich and our friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich... with the sweet bbq sauce. All I can say is AMAZING!! The service and the food.treat yourself and eat at Dempsey! Make sure you ask for the sweet bbq sauce!!
I was greeted by a great big ol Missouri howdy and a smile. I enjoyed my meal and enjoyed the friendly conversation.nHave you ever went to a restaurant and it just felt like home? The food was great. Thanks for being more than just a grub stop. Keep up your wonderful attitude.
We had shredded pork and ribs, oh my! Simply prepared and simply DELICIOUS! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. This is good food. Good slaw and fries...not greasy, just crispy enough and tender. Good slaw too. I hope we come through again, because I sure want to go back. Thank you Ivy and all the folks who prepared or meal.
Good food and fair price
First time customer...Me:. What are you famous for? Answer:. Brisket & Ribs. (My least favorite!) So, I ordered the 3 pics sandwich (pulled pork/ham & huge slices of bacon! Hand-cut FF out-of-this-World! Sandwich=Huge/Juicy/Quality Meats! Other sandwich ordered was the Turkey/Bacon/Cheese on Texas Toast! Same response:. BEST BBQ Turkey Sandwich EVER! I'll BE BACK!!!:). And fast & friendly window service...or eat inside with an ice cold Beer;-)ud83dude0b
