We love Amy & Tony. The Floating R is by far our most favorite camping destination. The Rubles are like family, they treat you like they are your family. We love them. If you want a nice place to camp & float, and to have fun and rest look any farther than The Floating R. This is our, Home away from Home. Remote, family-owned, peaceful, and private. Amy and Tony were better hosts than we could have asked for. They provided us with firewood for a modest fee, loaned us a pan when we forgot ours at home, and were even able to pull our van out of the mud. The primitive campground is well-kept, scenic, and accommodating for tents small and large, with a portable restroom on-site. The riverside area is beautiful and features a creek and a cave within a hillside. We go to Floating R to decompress, to be at peace, to be somewhere we can speak freely or even yell, if we're feeling it, and it's one of the better places I've discovered over the last several years. 8 bucks a head per night is all it costs for a wonderful time. If you're considering a place to camp, stop looking, you've found the right one.
