This part is beautiful. Lots of trees to block the winds of ND and green grass thats always well manicured. Theres plenty if camping spaces that aren't too close together. You can easily pull pike from the river an adorable little water fall with a suspension bridge over it.
Cute little park w/ campsite! Loved all the trees, privacy between sites, and the suspended bridge. The restrooms were well maintained and clean. The kids had alot of fun in the water and small sandy area there. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay and/or visit with the kids.
I cannot say enough about this place. The perfect place to take your family for the day or weekend. It's close to Minot but shows a town free camping experience! Side note... if your into geo cach you should check this place out as well. Also all you drone flyers will love this place!
If I could give them 10 stars I would. Best camping experience around. We come here every single year for 3 years now and we have never been disappointed. Well maintained, just far enough from town to be peaceful, during the week it's nice and empty. Also 2 pokemon go Gyms and 6 pokestops gives kids plenty to do. They always bring there bikes and roller skates. Free very clean showers, volleyball net, small park for kids.
It was nice there. We BBQ some Brats, and, kids got wet. There are tent and camper sites. Has a couple bridges, and a dam.
