I love local places like this... usually. Dining room was pretty empty the whole time, at most two other tables during our visit at any point. Waitress was very sweet, but once she took our order she never came back. Considering the lack of customers, I was surprised.nnAnother associate brought our food once it was ready and even returned to see if we needed refills. We would have bought cake/pie, but there was never an opportunity.nnWe both ordered burgers, but they sadly tasted like pre-formed (straight from frozen?) patties, instead of hand packed. Fried mushrooms and fries were good. Iced tea was essentially tea-infused water, nearly as clear as the ice. The cook/manager was apparently angry that day, verbally complaining to the two workers and an unsuspecting customer on the phone.nnI usually love “greasy spoons” / diners like this, but won’t be returning to this one. :(

Come to see my girlfriend and we eat breakfast here to meet up. From Maryland Heights and I swear you have the most amazing breakfast hands down. Thank you for the great food and memorys!
Drive 25 minutes to find out they aren't open 24 hours. Looks like a good place to score some high speed chicken feed though.
This is a homey, dive-y diner. The food is great and the staff is usually personable
