I love walking here!! So much shade and the trails are rarely super busy. Moderate walk to the bridge and water which is fun to stop at! I love taking my pup out here for walks and everyone respects the leash law and I’ve never had any issues with other pups. Trails are very clean and easy to walk.
Trail is great, however, the parking lot is covered with glass from car windows being busted out and contents stolen...daily. was told by JPD it is a problem, but not publicized so the public doesn't panic. Had this happen in broad daylight!
What an amazing spot for a walk! Lots of paths off the main trail and the bridge with turkey creek underneath is a very relaxing spot
Great trail. Lots of shade, benches and live water if you want to go for a dip or your dog gets thirsty. Old railbed so it is a flat smooth trail.
My second favorite trail in Joplin. Well taken care of. Easy to navigate. Walk here if you haven't already.
