I can't say enough good about the dealership and all the friendly helpful people that are employed there.

I bought a used Chevy Traverse from Dave Cross Motors in June of 2020. They provided a report of their mechanic's inspection of the car and everything was clean. Unfortunately about a month after buying it, the AC wasn't working right. I contacted Chad Cross via email to explain what I was dealing with and asking that he might assist with a discount on the repair of the AC. My guess is that they recharged the AC so that it would blow cold for test drives, knowing they had an issue, rather than fixing it. I acknowledged that they weren't obligated to do anything, but thought that in the spirit of good customer service they could offer me a significant discount on the repairs (they may not make money on the service, but I'd get it fixed for far less than somewhere else without them losing money). Never got a reply from Chad!nThen I called and left a voicemail for Chad as a follow up. Again, never heard back from Chad. Finally, a few weeks later I got a call from Chris, in their service department. Chris was real nice and we scheduled time for me to bring it in. They're currently working to fix it, but all I could get was a 10% discount on a $1,800 repair. Basically, I'm paying an extra 10% for the car I bought from them a few months back.nI'm giving them 2 stars because the sales process was pleasant; not pushy at all. And, my interactions with Chris in service were favorable as well. The front-line people were pleasant and responsive.nLearn from my mistake. My advice to anyone considering a purchase of a used vehicle from Dave Cross is to spend the money to have it inspected by a 3rd party mechanic. Dave Cross' inspection process is not reliable and you won't get a call back from Chad (the GM) if you do have an issue. I wanted to give the dealership a chance to make it right so that I could give them a positive review. Unfortunately, they didn't take that chance so I have to be transparent about my unfortunate experience with Dave Cross Motors.nnFollow up: Dave Ramey called me and we talked after my initial review. He had done some reviews of what they saw when they inspected my vehicle at receipt and said there was no recharge of the AC and no notations of anything irregular with the AC. So, it wasn't anything they knew or covered up. And, Dave was nice enough to contact me. It would have been great to get that earlier in the process, but I do appreciate Dave's follow through! Adding a star for that.
