We had a wonderful time at Cafe Verona. They were completely full when we walked in without reservations. The hostess had a nice booth set off to one side that was very quiet and comfortable for us. Our meals were excellent although the portions are more than generous. Highly recommend.
I go to this great spot a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I go there regularly. The food is fantastic, the crew is polite and the cost is good. I like meeting in this restaurant for a rich dinner.
I ordered the lasagna and it came with a salad. You could upgrade to a Cesar salad for fifty cents or a strawberry walnut salad for a dollar. I got the strawberry salad with candied walnuts, balsamic dressing on a bed of spinach. It was very tasty. No problem paying a dollar extra. The lasagna was delicious and quite filling. great
italian food and the setting at this spot is excellent. Went there on a Saturday. Service is typically above par. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.
Really disappointed in both Cafe Verona & Ophelia’s. While the rest of the city is reopening restaurants, you remained closed. Just when we thought we had finally found our go to places in Eastern Jackson County ( and believe me, that’s not easy) you stay closed. So, we continue to go out south to our favorite restaurants out that way, who have reopened, and are doing a fantastic job of keeping us safe with social distancing and the wearing of mask when not not seated. ud83dude22
