The best center of North America that I've visited.
Cool. Just be careful of the wood ticks.
their isnt anything around besides this marker but it was really fun to stop here on my vacation and get a picture of myself in the center of our continent. great for a family to visit on a roadtrip
It's worth a quick stop. We read an article about the various places claiming center status. So, it was good to get a quick picture. There's a picnic table and a small kiosk with pamphlets about area. Short, marked path rock and indicator sign. Path needs to be mowed; each of us found a tick on our socks.
Very interesting. Wasn't a planned stop. Just happened upon it. But kinda cool.
