Took my car in for a new battery and also asked them to check the radio as the screen had died. I asked them if they knew if the head unit needed to be replaced or if it was a computer module that another dealership had told me. Long story short, when I paid the bill there was an $80 charge for a radio softeware update. I asked about it, and they said they thought a software update might fix the broken screen. Didn't make any sense. I took to another dealership and the entire head unit was bad. They charged me to update a bad radio that had a black screen and I couldn't use.
