Great our guide was knowable and she was very helpful explaining how the fort was built and what life was like at the fort great place to bring the family.
Great fort to go so see, entry get you a guide that will tell you all bout the fort and entrance to the museum. Very cool to see where lewis and clark spent the winter.
A very fun visit. I loved the recreation of the fort, and was lucky enough to be on a smaller tour so that I had plenty of time to talk with the tour guides. Being a history major, I was familar with a lot of the story they were telling but picked up a thing or two that I did not know or had forgotten.nnThis park of the river is in a more natural state than either upstream where it is inuadated into Lake Sakakewea(North Dakotans pronounce and spell Sacajawea wrong) and Lake Ohae further downstream, so it is neat in that regards as well.
