I had an unpleasant experience at the Riverside location and didn't think I would ever go back but figured I would try this one and am so glad that I did. The wait staff was fantastic. I can't remember his name but he was very attentive. Even the manager came by just to see how we were doing. They focus on service here! Of course, the food was delicious. This location is a little further out but will worth the trip if you are wanting to get some good down home cooking. We took home a slice of cherry pie but really should have just brought the entire pie. I'll be back for it soon!
I can't say enough good about this place. From reasonable prices to friendly staff and excellent tasting food...an A+ in my book.nnDo try to get a cinnamon roll while you're there. You won't regret it.
The best thing here is the cinnamon rolls! My friend and I have eaten here many times. On our recent visit I had the hamburger steak and she had the pork chop dinner. We both had baked potatoes and green beans. The hamburger steak was really good and cooked as I ordered. The pork chops were also good. The baked potatoes were overcooked so they were on the mushy side. The green beans were good. We ordered the cinnamon roll to go and our server gave it to us at no cost because the kitchen was a little slow. We did not even ask. I thought that was really nice.
Wonderful comfort food. A fantastic bakery as well.
