Unable to leave less than 1 star :(nBooked the Memorial Day weekend 2019, ended up leaving a day early. Sites are basically a gravel lot, it's first come, first serve (pick your own spot). Tight space, no room to park when unhooked. No picnic tables and fire ring was an old tire rim. Called for wood twice and no one ever came, had to go to the bar where we were told they were too busy to get it at that point. Site were we hooked up shared electric with a permanent resident that had a hillbilly set up causing reverse polarizing and is getting shocked when we touched our RV (brand new 2019 34' trailer). When we called for help, it was less than desirable. Made me feel like I was not welcome and it was a bother to call at 8am on Saturday morning. Eventually the owner came out with another resident that was an electrician but problem was not fixed. Breaker kept tripping and we were still getting shocked. At that point, we were late for our boat rental reservation. My dogs were scared to go in the RV (our steps are metal) because they were getting shocked.nThe went on a walk one morning, another resident had 2 pitbulls, one came charging at me and my Mastiff. The pitbull broke free from his chain, in all the commotion I ended up falling in the rocky ditch getting cuts and bruises. Luckily my dog is fine.nWe ended up pulling out a day early.nSeemed like they cared more about their restaurant/bar.....sites and customer service were an afterthought!nI will not be back and do not recommend this place. There are many other campgrounds in the area to choose from!
