Me and my family just got back from the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. It is beautiful clean and safe camp ground. We stayed there for four days + 3 nights. The people that run the place is very nice and polite. I would recommend this place to anybody it has gorgeous views and you always see some kind of wildlife somewhere. We seen all kinds of deer the whole time we were there. Absolutely beautiful place and friendly and clean. We are looking forward to our next camping adventure with the Ozark State Park soon. Very nice campground with good sites by the water. Stayed at site 164 the past 2 years. Wasn't very busy after labor day, so was nice and quiet. Just be careful leaving any food or containers out as the racoons will visit in the middle of the night. Was camping in a tent.

We stayed Monday-Friday and the campground was peaceful and beautiful. We loved our time at this campground! The camp host were wonderful. Several times when my 6 year old passed one of the host they gave her bubbles and sidewalk chalk. There are deer everywhere, they would graze and lay down by our camper day and night. Our kids loved it.

Good time. Clean place to go. Bathrooms were clean. Free showers. Lots of trails to go on, helicopter ride was awesome. A little over priced but totally worth doing. And a lot of places around to go to with a good distance.

One of my family and I favorite campgrounds. Great hiking trails and the cove and beach are awseme.
