Love this National forest campground, there are not many equestrian camping places available with great trails to ride your horse. Tried out the Gans Creek wildlife area equestrian trails in the Rock Bridge Memorial state park, it had good reviews from hikers but the trails are way to rugged for horseback riding, my horse slipped on the flat shale rocks that cover a lot of the trails, he even went down at one point when I was walking him across a slick rock! Dry Fork is great for a day ride or short camping. You do have to carry water to your horse in buckets or water them by the hydrant at the Vaulted toilet that is close to the campsite that do accommodate horse rigs up to 30 foot.

Good place to camp. They have a water line, waste bin fire pits, grills and an out house along a trail that leads to Pine Ridge campground one way, while it does lead to Englewood, Columbia the other way, I would not recommend traveling it in the summer unless you want a million seed ticks. The trail doesn't seem to be maintained by anything but deer. Donations run the place so be sure to drop a $5 in to keep it looking nice and toilet paper in the bathroom.

3 star. You get what you signed up for. It's a nice secluded campground with a vault toilet & water pumps. You might need to pickup your site too with trash & horse manure. A couple sites look like long term residents so be aware. It worked perfect for us. Free, but there's a donation box.nnDon't confuse this campground on Google maps with New Bloomfield address which is exact same name Dry Fork Recreation Area on H outside Fulton which isn't a campground & not sure it exists. Write directions from website down. H out of Fulton to north on J, left on 356, left on 361. On right. Two posts mark entrance with sign stolen. Photos tab has map to campground. 7 miles from Fulton. AT&T worked fine. My friend's T-Mobile didn't.
