Went in, Stood at the desk watching employees on their phones not acknowledging me and I had to say “ Hey I’m here for a membership” finally someone came up and showed me I can do it online. REALLY! Do you not need memberships during Covid? Meh I’ll go somewhere else! Probably won’t get a response like most of your negative reviews, yeah I check. GOOD LUCK WITH YOU BUSINESS!
The place is very clean and everyone makes you feel welcome. I love that they open at 5 so I can go before work.
This review is purely concerning how Planet Fitness St Joseph chose to reopen following the virus:nnTo preface, I understand that it states in each contract that you must cancel within 7 days of a billing date.nnHowever... I have not used their facilities since the outbreak, due to my family containing multiple high-risk individuals.nnI was charged a “non-negotiable” $21 for a membership I haven’t used and am still not able to use until the pandemic is deemed safe by health professionals.nnI also understand that the city council of St Joseph (save a few individuals who listen to their health care professionals) does not take the virus seriously, having just issued very lax “mask rules” for the city.nnI would have really appreciated support from Planet Fitness, given that I’ve been going there for 6 years.nnSad to see corporate greed at large during a sensitive time for our nation.nnNeedless to say, I had to cancel my 6-7 year old membership. I was told I would not be refunded for the charge I received this morning.nnTruly Disappointing.
Amazingly clean and wonderful staff. It's my happy place.
