Gold Seal was fantastic. Their bid was competitive and the job was completed on time. All the workers were competent, friendly, and thorough. We would hire them again without reservation.
DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. We hired Gold Seal to paint the interior of our home (3 levels and vacant) Their estimate was in-line with at least one other estimate we had received. He said he would have it done in a month after we put 40% down per the contract. Within 1 week, they had only completed the trim and ceilings on the upper level yet he was already asking for more money to pay his crew (1 1/2 guys). He had mentioned a draw at 2 weeks but that was with the understanding that 2 weeks worth of work (50% complete) would be done. When we refused to pay ahead of the contract, his crew stopped showing up and he (Curtis) stopped answering our calls. When he did finally return our calls after several days, he stated he was walking out on the job. He said he had spent the deposit on something else other than paying his crew. We have these conversations recorded. We paid 40% of the contract and less than 30% of the job got done. One of his guys did come back to fix some quality issues on his own time but we are still having to touch up lines, brush strokes, and extra coats.
Good service everything looked as we hoped for painters were very polite and everyone was very prompt with our tight schedule and budget......thank you gold seal for making our home a more beautiful place to retire

Russ and his Gold Seal Painting work force provided excellent service in the painting of our home. Everyone did an outstanding job. The job was efficient, courteous, and clean. We recommend them highly for continued service to our community. If you want the job done to perfection, call them.
