Excellent historical experience! A wonderful outdoor excursion.
Not alot at the site, but a beautiful day to relax and view the river.
A very calm and quiet place.
Loved walking around and looking at the history !
The area is clean, easy to navigate, and beautiful. There are plaques detailing the history about the site, and are very interesting to read. It's a medium sized walking area, and is good for a quick stop to soak in some scenery. The sun sets on the other side of the river, and can be viewed very well from here. There are benches to sit on as well. If you are passing through, I would recommend stopping here for a quick stroll.
