Great experience. Transaction was quick and easy and the service provided by Sean was greatly appreciated, from bringing the car directly to our home for test driving to delivering the vehicle directly to us upon purchase. Highly recommend them.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. It started out great. They had a used vehicle that my husband and I were very interested in, and we immediately contacted them to ask for details and pictures on Sunday. We live a couple hours away, so we worked with Sonny via text and phone calls on a Monday and made an offer, which he sent us a picture of, on Monday afternoon. I was already approved for an auto loan through my bank, which I told him about. And that's when things went south. Sonny told me that there would be a $200 delivery fee, which I found later on their website that delivery of a purchase vehicle is free, no matter the distance. He told me to expect to hear from his financing department that evening, which I did not receive a call from. I sent a follow up text later Monday evening to let him know my availability on Tuesday. No response. I sent 2 messages and called on Tuesday to let him know I was available to discuss financing. He eventually text back and said he'd have someone call me. No calls. I sent another text in the evening asking if I should expect to just use my prior approval. No response. Sent a couple more messages on Wednesday and called again with no responses, as I was starting to suspect the vehicle had been sold to someone else. He messaged me back assuring me that it was mine and there were no issues, the vehicle was just in the detail shop getting a few rock chips touched up. My husband also called and was reassured by Sonny that the vehicle was ours and he was just waiting for it to get out of the shop. Thursday, we still hadn't heard from anyone about financing and I was feeling like I was begging them to take my money at this point. My husband calls again and Sonny put my husband on hold for more than 15 min before he gave up and hung up. Friday I was informed by the internet sales manager that someone else purchased the vehicle and already had possession of it. She told me that the manager would be in touch with me to make things right, and of course that never happened. I did just buy a brand new vehicle from my local dealership, so I'm sure they would thank you for that! Definitely would NOT EVER recommend Max Motors to ANYONE!!!!nnUpdate: I did get a phone call from the manager 3 weeks later who was very apologetic and assured me that is not how they intend to do business, that my experience was very disappointing to hear about, and he would do what he could to make it right and earn my business in the future.

I’ve purchased a lot of new vehicles over the years, this by far has been the worst experience ever!!! Took three days to get a finance approval, then the truck was sold out from under us. Decided to give it a second chance, asked for the buyers order for TWO DAYS and didn’t receive it until we were six hours into the NINE HOUR drive to their location in Butler, Mo. Guess what? Stuck an extended warranty for 4500.00 on the purchase and deducted the incentives, drastically changing the price..... let us walk away over a 1,000 dollar difference after all of that and a nine hour drive.... take your business elsewhere folks. Jim Butler Motors in Linn, Mo can have my business any day after this experience.

Purchased a 2020 Willy's Jeep for my wife for Christmas. Looked all over the US for what I wanted and Max Motors had the only one I could find. They could have charged whatever they wanted but still gave me a great deal. Within a couple of days the windshield had cracked. The GM not only covered the cost of the replacement but also arranged for it to be done where I live instead of having to take it back to the dealership 3 hours away. Good deal and good customer service.
