We were on the way to Colorado towing our camper with our F-250 and stopped at a rest area about 15 miles east of town when I noticed that the pinion seal on my rear diff was leaking badly. Brenner was the only Ford dealer around and was able to get us in first thing the next morning and even gave us a loaner car while we waited for the seal to be replaced. This was the second time in 10k miles that the seal had failed. These seals should fail that frequently. I was worried about there being a much bigger issue with the axle. I was very revealed to hear that the tech found that the diff vent had clogged with rust which caused the failure. He cleaned it out which should prevent future failures. The last dealer we took it to didn't find that problem. It gave me great peace of mind that the root cause of the failure had been discovered and fixed so I wasn't worried about the diff blowing the seal again as we climbed the mountains in the heat. I hope I never have a reason to visit Brenner again, but if I do, I know they'll take care of us! Thanks guys!
