Heard several good comments about this place and it was indeed good. I had the fish n chips and although I don't care for skinny fries, these did taste good...nicely fried but NOT greasy and speaking of NOT greasy...the fish was amazingly crisp on the outside and moist/yummy on the inside. One of the business partners made a special visit to our table and it was certainly a pleasure to meet her and chat about the restaurant for a wee bit. Waitstaff was fabulous and they have quite an extensive menu!nnOnly drawback in my opinion is that they don't have a lot of vegetarian-friendly options besides salad. Aside from that, I'll definitely go back!nOh and they just started serving breakfast....bonus points!!!

Excellent food - had the chicken fried steak and chicken fried boneless pork chops, both with real mashed potatoes and country gravy. Seasoned lightly so you could taste the food. House salad was fresh and crisp. We shared the carrot cake and it was delicious - moist and flavorful (thankfully no raisins or pineapple) with a perfect cream cheese frosting. The servings were generous and all was priced reasonably.

We had fish, fried catfish and the fish and chips. Excellent but the sides were to die for! Homemade BBQ chips were terrific. The green beans were out if this world - loaded with bacon and onion and super sweet. Loved it!

Have been here multiple time(dine in and take out) have not been disappointed at all. I love it,staff is nice, food is amazing and not over priced. Highly recommended the burgers(best around in my opinion) and the salad is also a favorite.

Never had a bad meal at Tate's, we stop in every time we're in Scott. Best house-made steak sauce in Western Kansas!
