Chuck Wagon Restaurant

As a midwesterner who takes pride in proper chicken fried steak technique, I can comfortably say that Chuckwagon is the only place (outside of my home) that makes 5-star quality chicken fry. If you only get one visit, it's a must-order, breaded in house, cooked on the grill, not in oil, the way it should be done and seldom is anymore. The remainder of Chuckwagon's menu is simple fare, nothing exotic, just good quality food. Their side dishes are basic fillers and leave a little to be desired, but main dishes will not disappoint. Fair-even competitive-pricing. Friendly service. It's a gem of a rural eatery.

Great place for burgers and fries. Iced tea was delicious. Service was fast. Older restaurant that smelled of smoke but the restroom was clean and the food was satisfying.

The food was excellent. You really got your money's worth. Friendly service. Cooked to perfection. Would definitely return.

This placenhad no forks/spoons or forks which they informed me after they brought my food out. NOW HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO EAT MY CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN (WHICH TASTES LIKE WATER AND UGLY SIGHT)?!?! GRAVY WATERY! MY CUP OF WATER WAS GOOD AT LEAST.

I have to say the food was very good, but as for the cleanliness it left alot to be desired. The restrooms were really dirty and the whole place needed a good cleaning and updates. Won't stop again.
