Beautiful place to see! A must see for any nature buff. This is a great place to take the kids and let them play while you enjoy the scenery or play yourself! Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Kansas, don't forget the camera! You will regret it... Highly recommended to any sight seeing adventurers. Go on a sunny day when is dry, is on dirt roads... Unless you have a good pickup of course...

They're honestly not that special, for those of us who live on the other side of the Rockies. But the way they stand out from millions of hectares of mostly flat land is remarkable. Definitely worth coming off US 83 to see, and after driving across states like Missouri and Ohio, it's comforting to see some interesting landscapes again, enough that I'm glad I wandered this far off the interstate.

Incredible - just pops out of the plains!nnPlease be courteous and don't linger too long next to the rocks when people are trying to take pics.nnExpect about a seven mile drive on a gravel road. It's pretty heavily trafficked with some washboard and a couple cattle grates. Your car will make it though no problem. If you're not used to driving on gravel, washboards will skip you into the ditch if they're on a curve and you go too fast. Otherwise you'll be fine.nnI don't recommend taking a trailer back there because turning around at the monument to return will be difficult.nnRemember that this is private property. Don't climb on the rocks. Don't leave trash. Stay on the roads and trails - this is NOT a place to go mudding after a rain. Be nice to someone else's land. They can close it to the public at any time if the place is abused.

Super cool rock formation in the middle of Kansas, perfect to take a walk or watch the sunset. I'm sure it's great for stargazing if the weather is good. Roads to/from are dirt/gravel, so be careful driving.

I can’t believe how beautiful these rocks are. This was one of the most incredible sights on the way from Missouri to Colorado. Unfortunately it is quite a distance off the highway, and much of the drive is on dirt roads.nnIf you have an additional hour and a half (30 minutes to get to it, 30 minutes exploring it, and 30 minutes back to the highway, then it is absolutely worth the time. It’s incredible to see something like this all by itself in the middle of nowhere.
