Wyco west mountain bike trailhead

Good hike! Did the 3.4 mile loop and saw lots of wildlife.

You can get some good milage in. I recommend going with someone who knows the trail. Lots of cross sections & or intersections.

Great set of trails here. You can play on the lower stuff close to the lake and keep it easy, or if you want some extra distance and challenge you can head up Chupacabra. Come hang out on Thursday nights at 6pm for the real fun stuff.

West trails are great fitness trails. Nothing technical here. Cross the dam for all the exciting stuff. West trailhead is only 2 min from 435 and you hardly have to drive in the park do you can avoid the speed traps.

Walked the purple trail on a week day with 6 and 11 year old. Wonderful experience. Tried the white trail by the water a few days later. Fun! No bikes, maybe more on the weekend. Maps at Shlagle nature library.
