Pasta And Pasture

My wife and I have been here numerous times. Always friendly service and it is the best Italian food we have ever eaten by far. It would be worth the trip from Wichita for their food alone, but staying at the lake also makes for a perfect getaway weekend from the big city.

While wandering around the middle of Kansas I came across a restaurant hidden in a small Kansas town of that has the best Italian food and flavor I have ever had. From the breadsticks, to the amazing alfredo sauce, to the melt in your mouth brownies. How do you make a salad so good it should be bragged about? I don't know but they do. And the Nacho's... Oh wow...

A nice gentleman named Matthew made a very tasty pizza for me earlier this afternoon. I originally planned to get it to go, but ended up eating in the back patio area. The owner/chef arrived while I was waiting and introduced himself and we spoke for a few minutes. It was a very unique and pleasant dining experience.

Fish was excellant but coleslaw should have been in separate container.

I hereby want to reserve a piece of pumpkin cheesecake with Grandma's caramel sauce all over it...it is fall...pumpkin season...so hope that that cheesecake plus the caramel apple cheesecake with pecan crust is part of the dessert line up again. You may only live once, have the cheesecake.
