I have hunted at Lone Pine for years and I have always had a great experience. Two years ago we lost our 11yr old GSP (Rowdy) to cancer. So last year I we purchased a GSP puppy (Mable) who I have been unable to spend the time afield that I did with our faithful Rowdy. I called the new owners of Lone Pine (Josh & Katy) and Josh willingly agreed to help me do some training. I went out and spent an afternoon with Josh (and Mable). Josh was awesome! He spent time instructing me and working with Mable to find out where we were with training. He gave me suggestions to go home with along with a few wings. We always loved Mike and Beth (the previous owners) for not only the hunts but the hospitality. It appears that the tradition of Lone Pine will be carried on with Josh and Katy. The properties that they hunt are spectacular for wonderful day in the outdoors.
Great experience and very professional. We were with a large group and didn't need for anything. The hospitality and food was perfect. We will be back.

Wonderful family run operation running great hunts at a fraction of others prices. Take your family and have a great time, they are the best!!
8 hunters, $1,500 paid, 25 birds between all 8 hunters or about $60 a bird. The dogs were more interested in each other than flushing or retrieving, the guide just drove around in a gator. I would not recommend unless walking back and forth over the same piece of ground all day with no birds is your idea of a good time.
