Hy's Filling Station

Great food and service. Small town business that has been there for many years.

My Husband and I stayed overnight in Yates Center and went to Hy's for breakfast. The place was full and we were going to have to sit at the countertop. That was an unhappy thought but the locals at the farmer's table were so friendly and said we could sit with them. The food was good (biscuits and gravy - the gravy was homemade) and the Waitress quick to refill the cups. Everyone was really nice and the food familiar; we also live in a small town - yes, we will eat at Hy's again.

This very small dinner at the edge of town is so worth the stop. They have wonderful daily specials at a great price. The philly cheese steak sandwich is amazing. We will be back.

Best food, all made from scratch, got the ham horseshoe, it was delicious. Very big portions and the pies are to die for. Lol. The waitresses, Jana and Shannon are the best. They make you feel like you're at home. I highly recommend you stop here for a great meal!

Fantastic omelettes, large portions, reasonably priced. Friendly locals didn't seem bothered when the Harley pulled in. Great experience.
