What a beautiful park! We were driving through Kansas and weren’t sure if there would even be any campsites available because it wouldn’t let us book online for this particular night. The park office was closed but they offer self-pay and self-check in. We had a really great time and would love to come back and explore some more.

We really liked this place. Plenty of room at the campsites, clean and employees were very nice and helpful! Only down side is that only one of the many boat ramps were closed for no apparent reason! Lots of trees in the water so we didn't like that either! It is beautiful and not sure if I'd go back!

I stayed in the Page area on the south shore. The Agave Ridge Trail here is really cool and well-maintained, and it's nice that there are shelters at a lot of the primitive sites, but be warned that most of the primitive campsites are REALLY REALLY REALLY far away from potable water and bathrooms. Many aren't even within reasonable walking distance from a vault toilet. That was frustrating. Also, the bluffs that it's named for are on the far side of the lake.

Arguably the most beautiful reservoir in Kansas. Ended up at Cedar Bluffs for work and was thoroughly impressed by the boat access and staff. A ways from Manhattan but the fishing reports are all good and we're planning a fishing trip for later this summer.
