This park was very quiet. A little hidden spot surrounded by a golf course. It had lots of benches to sit and enjoy nature. The labelling and description boards were really helpful in learning about the local flora. Besides a few birds and grasshoppers, didn't see much wildlife.

Honestly if you want to get some coffee and go for a walk on a nice summer evening, it's a nice place to go if you live in the immediate area. Obviously it's not large, but it takes about 15 minutes to walk through, and the placards are nice. It's a good photo opportunity for couples with a little bridge over a pond. Don't go looking for a full-fledged arboretum but it is a cute place for a short walk.

This is a beautiful place showcasing the native plants and trees of Central ND. There are informative signs everywhere showing what plants grow where depending on the portions of the prairie.nnEx: trees grow in coulees where runoff and snowmelt collect as they make their way to the nearest river or lake and only hardy grasses grow on the hilltops on the native prairie. Good place to take pictures especially in the late spring when everything is green and in bloom.

I absolutely love this place and if you get finished taking in the views you can (almost) finish your biology project and in a pinch this is a great place to collect leaves however there's no lilac here and it makes me thoroughly angry I'm going to scream AHHHHHHHHHH. I'M SORRY I WAS JUST OVERWHELMED BY THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T HAVE LILAC. All these trees and not a single lilac are you serious. Smh
