Topeka / Capital City KOA Journey

This is a beautiful spot. In addition to regular spots, they had a number of extra long spots which was great for us. (65') the place is clean and well manicured. It is close to a large road but there is a dirt berm that greatly reduces the noise. There was an occasionally fly over by aircraft headed to Topeka regional nut nothing obnoxious. Very nice grounds.

Spent a care free night in Topeka thanks to Charlie and his crew at the KOA. After the previous 3 nights I spent deep in the wilderness, the change of pace at the friendly location was needed. A hot shower and a cozy spot for my tent was what I needed. If I had any complaint it would be the proximity to the highway which was loud through the night, but a pair of noise cancelling headphones soothed any burden. I had a great nights rest and was ready to hit the road first thing in the AM. Whenever I pass through Topeka I plan on returning to this KOA

Had a quick trip at this KOA, found the cabin we rented very satisfying for our needs. Great little brewery down the road too! Best part; leaving our bank card at the brewery and Charlie hand delivering it when he couldn’t reach us on our phone! KOA went out of their way to ensure our trip wasn’t a disaster! Much appreciated Charlie! Definitely see you again

This KOA has some great amenities! Had an extra long site which was great but had to get a little creative on the stairs as the sites aren’t all that wide (especially with all slides out) you share electric hub with the other lot, and there’s a significant drop off on one side of the rig on our site. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

Had a great time camping here. Lots of things for the kids to do. Quiet and clean. Will definitely be back!
