Proximal is quite possibly the best executed gym with the best business plan and overall person/health approach I’ve ever encountered.nnThere are some decent gyms in town that bring their A game, but the owner of proximal has ignored all the expectations and created a class of her own.nnThe combination of physical therapy with a top notch traditional gym setup that caters to the yuppy and meathead alike is nothing short of genius.nnNormally (hopefully) a gym will focus on building a person from the ground up, which works for the average person with no physical issues to overcome - but for someone like myself that spent a long stint in a wheelchair - proximal digs way deeper than ground level so that even someone facing limitations can excel.nnDefinitely a business built on competency and compassion that I’m happy to get to support. It feels more like investing into the success of a good friend than paying gym dues.
I'll give it 5 stars when hooks are installed in bathroom stalls, and a ladies locker room entrance privacy wall or screen is erected so you can't look into the hair dryer area from outside the room. LOVE going here. Great downtown location.
