I went to the store on Douglas and Volutia today around 7:30 P.M.. I asked for a can of snuff. The clerk, a young, bald man, started ringing me up immediately, before I was done. He was on the phone most of the time. I got home to find that he gave me the wrong product AND over-charged me.

I usually only get gas here, but several times I’ve wanted to buy milk and they don’t carry skim/1%. Also when I pay for my gas at the pump they NEVER have enough paper in them to give me a receipt. This doesn’t happen at other Kwik Shops so I don’t understand why this one can’t keep the receipt paper stocked. I try to use other stations when I can because this one is such a hassle!

When Kroger (Dillon’s) owned it, this place was great. A hard working staff, managers who cared and a decent selection of goods. Since they changed ownership, most of the good employees left. The new staff spends more time on their phones and talking to customers around the store than they do taking care of customers. Management couldn’t care less that it’s gone downhill and they’ve quit selling some of their best products. It’s my neighborhood gas station and I want to see it do well, but it doesn’t seem that anybody who works there feels the same way.
