Public Storage

Have been renting space at this place for half a year now. Needed to upgrade to a larger unit. Took advantage of discounts online; reservation, signed paperwork online, paid online, all hoping that things would go smoothly. Got a text stating my unit was ready. Upon arrival, my unit was not ready. The lady, Jana; in the office was very rude, telling me that she wished I wouldn't have reserved a unit online! Being that I wanted to switch to a unit closer to my existing unit, in order to make the transfer of my things easier. She also said I needed to pay for my existing unit even though I was going to be moving my things out of that unit. That was at 930am and here it is 430pm and because she wasn't willing to transfer me to another closer unit, I still haven't moved in. A wasted labor day weekend because she couldn't be accommodating to the customer. I have never had an issue with any other storage facility in my life; and I've rented lots of units, having to upgrade at some point or downgrade, this has been the worst experience and I'm thinking of taking my business elsewhere where they will be accommodating to their customer. Then again..... How much more inconvenienced will I be of that has to happen??? Cal the district manager, left a voicemail, because they don't work on the weekend, hoping something can be done soon or I definitely will inconvenience myself and take my business elsewhere. So frustrating.
