My girls are great to me and my kids. Never have a problem here and half the time my kids just go to see the people here. It's always been our go to. And will be.

They are not complying with the state recommendation mandate they are not making everybody wear a mask when they go in they are not making people stay 6' away from each other

This Kwik Shop is much bigger than the one on Haven, KS. The parking is small for trucks, but adequate for the amount of trucks parked here. We couldn't hardly get a spot that wasn't flooded today. Walking around to the front of the store I noticed a sign that said $10.00 for parking, it was hard to believe with the way the truck parking area looked. Then I saw the air machine..$1.50 with quarters and $1.75 with a card, they like their air. When coming through the entrance you are welcomed by a very spacious and quiet store. The cashier greeted us and we headed straight to the restrooms...it was nice, this Kwik Shop had two restrooms (male & female) fit for one at a time, so we was both able to go at the same time...very clean. Back out into the store we saw the cleanliness and the nice wide aisles. Everything looked well stocked and we didn't see any signs posted about limiting products. When we purchased some donut holes, the cashier, being concerned, asked if we were staying clean out on the road, which we told her that we had hand sanitizer and disinfect wipes plus we keep our distance from people so we're pretty well covered. She then told us to stay clean and safe out there as we were leaving back out to the flooded lot.

I do not know why the company that purchased Kwik Shops, think that they know what they were doing. How difficult it can be. I'm no expert but I have been a loyal customer for years. Perhaps it is growing pains or some other simple explanation but I can certainly tell a difference in the stores since the change of ownership.nI live close to a store in my neighborhood that is only .6 miles from my house. Certainly doable for an aging gentleman such as myself, often walked due to neccessity, other times because I need to walk to stay healthy. I am retired on SS and use my bank card almost exclusively. Frequently I have no cash nor felt the need to carry any just to shop at your stores. However, within the past 2-3 months, I have either made the trek down there or occasionally get a ride, and have found that the store can only accept cash because the card system had gone down again. Again. And again.nI have had to get use to querying the staff if the machine are working before I shop. Then, I feel safe to draw up a coke or coffee, knowing I can pay for it, rather than waste it. The moment I placed my card in the slot, the card system went down. Again. For the 5th time that I know of. So I scraped up enough change from my pocket and the car to purchase the drink for cash.nIf this were the only problems noted since the change of owners, I would stop here. But I will go on to say that the overall neatness, cleanliness, and shabby look that pervades more than one store that I shop at has gone down hill and may be tied into sales being low due to the card readers crashing and the store only accepting cash.nI can also say that I have now become an ex-customer as I cannot rely on my ability to have cash, just in case, when I am surfing the couch and chair cushions to get what I need anyway. I can get what I need from other places close, or fairly close by to meet my needs, I dont rely solely on one store anyway. But I have concluded that can no longer support a company that seems to not care, or unable to care about their store and their customers who do rely on them for their needs. I'm sad, but not heart broken. Business is business these days. I hope it comes together for Kwik Shop. I , for one, no longer care.nI, alone, am not the one who carries the fate of the company. I'm just one small cog in a very large wheel. I have to best please myself and my own personal boycott of a company only pleases myself.nThank you for your time and good luck. :)
