High Park

High Park in Derby is a beautiful place to get out and enjoy your day! The pond is well designed and beautiful! They have different sports fields, great walking paths, along the paths is workout equipment, and play ground equipment for the kids! There is a wonderful building for events also! The city of Derby has a great and wonderful place to get your fun on!

This is one of many parks in Derby. But this is my favorite. Loads of things to see and do. Beautifully designed. Makes you feel you have gone to the country. So very much windlife about. Picnic areas at every turn ...all with a view. I highly recommend grab the fur babies grab the children...bring kites baseballs gloves...do come for the evening or end a day or just stay an hour or so. So very relaxing do not forget the soccer ball. See you there.

Clean wow. We were there taking pictures for a relatives wedding, absolutely beautiful. We wanted to get some pictures on the cool bridges but gave up because of the astro turf on them. (astro turf is never a good solution, wood or expanded steel would be better and longer lived.)

Amazing park. Lots of out door space. Great for walking, jogging, dogs and kids. Fun parks for the kids and plenty of nice picking areas.

This park is great for families! The playground on the north side of the park is our favorite. There is a shaded Pavilion with clean bathrooms. The playground is great for toddlers all the way through upper Elementary. They have wonderful sidewalks for biking or walking. Open fields for playing soccer with the family or catch. The only downfall is that the playground does not have any shade, only the Pavilion next to it.
