Eagle Valley Raptor Center

Eagle Valley raptor center was a great and educational place to take anyone. Good for all ages

I took an injured wild bird for rehab. The owner is doing great work and does shows.

A friend and I helped rescued a Mississippi Kite in my backyard. We called this place soon as possible when we found out it is a raptor rescue and care place. It is a non-profit place and so any kind of donations help. We met up with Ken and he helped us get the Kite into one of his many cages. I followed up on the Kite and Ken said the vet didn't see any metal fragments in the Kite and they gave it antibiotics and the Kite is on the road to recovery. This place is also great for school tours.

This place was not very big,BUT I was very impressed at what this gentleman had to share. He has some of th finest raptors I've ever seen, close up( and some of the Cub Scout troop I was with) found personal. He was very knowledgeable about each of the birds. You could tell they are well taken care of. Most of these birds have been rescued, and some are going to be able to be released back to the wild, others cannot because of their injuries. But the experience for the kids was amazing, they got to hand feed the birds. We all even got to go in the cage with the Bald Eagle. This man does this ALL by donations. So if you go and take a group, be generous. His grounds are very clean very well kept. There is an area to picnic,he has a grill, picnic shelter, clean rest rooms. This was a great experience, I definitely will tell people to go. I want to go again.
