Always clean and well picked up. Continuously has someone there. Beautiful landscaping and pretty scenery for photography. Has the fountain for when its warm. Canoeing in the area on the river. Paths to take quiet peaceful walks.

Beautiful park in downtown Wichita has a nice large oval path lined with native limestone, historical markers along the path tell the history of the park. There is also a very nice exhibit of native wildlife and several ponds. There is a modern playground for kids and adults alike. There are numerous picnic benches for eating at. Another feature of the park is a rock circle decorated with tile describing astrological phenomenon. It also has time and day of year markers for the solstice and seasons.

I love this park! It's SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love this place. However, I do NOT RECOMMEND riding the electric scooters that you can rent in the park! They go faster than what they tell you they do. There's no protective gear to wear in case you do crash. Please remember, if you have no insurance and you crash, those expenses are on you! I crashed on one and thank God I have insurance because I broke my foot in 3 places, sprained my wrist and tore my rotator cuff! But the park itself is beautiful. They have a gorgeous sundial clock...I'll add pictures of it. Words cannot describe it. It reminds me of Stonehenge. It's just beautiful! And they have a huge gazebo which I'm not sure I have pictures of. If I do I'll post them. A pond with geese and a river runs through the park. I don't think I have pictures of that but I'll post what I have.

Very sad how riverside is now. When I was younger even couple years ago was very clean. Fun safe place. Now its overrun by litter and random bums sleeping wherever and graffiti on the kids play equipment. Very sad do not feel safe there and the city needs to pick up the trash and put fine signs up.

Great park with wonderful playgrounds and a small free zoo. Splash pad in the summer months. Very pretty and peaceful place.
