Wonderful park to enjoy lunch

Jerry Ivey is a pretty nice park, there's a nice walking trail that takes you through a tunnel of trees and there is a pond where there are geese. It got a little sprinkler park for the kids and plenty of places to sit and have a picnic. There's lots of nice trees, it's not a huge park but it's a nice park. Historically it's not an old park, it was put up probably in the late 70s early 80s to memorialize a police officer named Jerry Ivey that was killed in the line of duty, here in Salina Kansas.nnThere is a tennis court, basketball court there's lots of covered shelters. If you have little kids or even if you just want to sit at the water and watch the geese and take a walk on the trail it's nice.

Love to sit there and watch the ducks. You can almost hand feed them
