Great little set of trails boasting a challenging 3.2 mile hike to complete the trek, but with breathtaking views and a and constant terrain changes, this Nature Area/Trail quickly became one of my favorite hikes. Thanks to the Land Institute Research Center for putting this together for all to enjoy. An absolute MUST for kids & dogs to take with you!

Great trail! Pretty easy. Not much for mud, but it hasn’t rained for a couple of days. People need to pack out their dog poop. Maybe have a place where people can grab a bag or two for the hike. Thankful for the trash receptacle for us to use at the trailhead.

The Marty Bender nature area is a pleasant 3 mile hiking trail with multiple picnic tables and benches.
