The cost is just too much. I have moved into Kansas as a Senior citizen on a fixed income that barely keeps me afloat without a lot of extras. I now have to pay quarterly state taxes that I didn't have to before. I got very little back in refunds and H&R block have taken a third of that. I will have to figure another way.

The gentleman who did my taxes was patient with me and answered all of my questions in a way that I can understand. He was very efficient and helpful. I already have en appointment with him scheduled for next year.

It is worth the money to get a professional tax preparer to do our taxes. H&R Block has done out taxes for over 40 years and we have been well served by them.

This year I had more paper work and forms so I decided to have someone else do my taxes, turns out this was a good thing, they were able to figure out everything , didnt have to sit down for the entire process, just drop off my paper work , answered a few questions and return when they were done. It's a bit more than the DIY online places but since I was unsure I felt better leaving it to a pro... Larry was very helpful and very professional as an employee should be ... will recommend to others as well.
